And I brought my cat, and it took some time for him to get used to it, but he came back safely. If you have a pet, this is a good choice. The best part is that Songjeong Forest Trail and the beach are nearby. Thanks to that, I often went for walks, and there is a Hanaro Mart, E-Mart, Starbucks, and Mega Coffee nearby. I recommend this place.”

“We are a family from Germany who came to Gangneung to directly experience and learn about Korea and its people. Since we truly love the sea and nature, Gangneung was the perfect place for us. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, and the host was always quick and kind in communication, for which we are truly grateful. The accommodation is located on the 4th floor, offering beautiful views. The house is spacious with a convenient layout, and it was cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Every detail, from the color scheme to the small interior accessories, showed such care that we absolutely loved it. We stayed for 5 weeks and were able to freely use everything we needed. Towels, soap, toilet paper, bedding, and pillows were generously provided, making our extended stay very comfortable. The surrounding area is definitely worth exploring. Many places are within walking distance, and the bus system is well-developed, making it convenient to travel to the city center. I especially want to recommend the HANIEL café. The menu items—tea, coffee, juice, and cookies—were all homemade and absolutely delicious. Conversations with the host were truly enjoyable, and thanks to them, we learned so much about Korean people and Korean culture. We quickly felt as comfortable as if we were at home. When we left, we forgot one piece of luggage, and the host kindly sent it to us by mail. We are truly grateful. 🙏 Even the children were sad about having to leave this accommodation.
