“I used it for about 7 days during this trip to Jeju Island. I used it while traveling alone, but I regret that I only made a reservation for 7 days. First of all, the room seemed like it could accommodate up to 2 people, and it was great because there was a washing machine, refrigerator, coffee pot, cutlery, plates, and various other things in the room. The bed was big enough for 2 people, so I slept comfortably. And I was satisfied because the bathroom and shower were clearly separated in the same place. 1. The hosts were also very kind and detailed about the check-in and room usage according to the reservation date, so it was very comfortable and the response speed was very fast. (Since it is a non-face-to-face check-in and check-out, introverts, come here quickly.!!!) 2. The location of the accommodation is almost in the center of Seogwipo, so there is a convenience store right next to it and many places to eat, so it was very convenient, and there were a lot of places to visit nearby. If you are traveling to Seogwipo, I think it will be very convenient to walk around, and those with a car will find it very, very convenient. 3. As for the utility bills, I was surprised that they were not as high as I thought because I was walking around a lot and it was really hot, so I turned on the air conditioner a lot while I was at the accommodation. The amount was a bit low, and the utility bills were much lower than I thought. Even though I came alone walking around, I was able to move around very comfortably, and I regret that I only made a reservation for a week. I think the accommodation price is very cheap for this quality and this price. I would appreciate it if you read this article and make a reservation at this accommodation once!!!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is LiveAnywhere?

LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.

It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.

Some listings show a deposit. What is it, and do I get it back?

Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.

Is there a good Airbnb alternative for a stay of a week or longer in Jeju?

If you're looking for an Airbnb alternative in Jeju, LiveAnywhere is built for stays of a week or longer. Nightly rates are set for extended stays, so the same apartment often costs noticeably less than booking week by week on a nightly platform. There are no repeated cleaning fees, utilities are included, and every host is verified and legally operating.

Can foreigners rent a hotel stay in Jeju without a Korean guarantor?

No Korean guarantor is required to book a stay in Jeju on LiveAnywhere. That's built into how the platform works, so you can complete the entire booking online without needing someone to co-sign.
