“While planning a trip to Gunsan, I looked for a place to stay, but there was no place as good as this. When I arrived, half-heartedly and half-expectingly, it was exactly like the picture, and even cotton swabs and hair ties! I was surprised that all the necessary items were there in detail. I packed everything, including cotton swabs, killer wine openers, and ****** **, but everything was there to the point that my preparation was meaningless! Even the kids' slippers were prepared!! It was clean and the kids loved it. There were lots of Netflix and board games, so I could rest at the accommodation without sightseeing. ㅎㅎ It was about 10-15 minutes to walk anywhere, and Seonyudo was about 50 minutes? All the nearby restaurants were within 5-10 minutes! It was quiet at night, so it didn't feel like a busy area. At first, the TV didn't work well and the gas stove didn't turn on, so I contacted them, and I really liked how they tried to handle it quickly. Lastly, they sent me a text like the sister next door, but I couldn't reply because I was too busy getting back to my daily life, and I missed the timing, but I think we connected. If you choose this place, you won't regret it~ If I go to Gunsan again, I will visit here again without hesitation. Rather than paying a lot for a guesthouse without a bed, I highly recommend this convenient and cozy place. I bought it with my own money.”

LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.
It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.
Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.
For an extended stay in Jeollabuk-do, LiveAnywhere works as a straightforward Airbnb alternative: rates are set for week-plus bookings rather than nightly stays, so costs come out lower over time. You also skip repeated cleaning fees, utilities are included in the price, and hosts are verified and legally operating.
Foreigners can rent in Jeollabuk-do through LiveAnywhere without needing a Korean guarantor. It's one of the platform's core features. Booking is done online, with no guarantor or in-person paperwork required.
