“The house I was living in was scheduled to be remodeled for about a month, so I needed a place for a family of 5 to live, so I searched around and found this place! It wasn't easy to find a house for 5 people, but there was no additional cost, and although it was on the 4th floor without an elevator, I thought of it as exercise and went up and down every day, so I got used to it. ㅎ The house was spacious, so it didn't feel cramped at all for 5 people to live in, and the boiler was so hot that I sometimes had to turn it off~ It was close to a laundromat and convenience store, and the hot water came out well. I was worried about parking, but fortunately it wasn't too crowded. It was a little narrow for cars because it was an alley. Since the kids were young and ran around a lot, I felt sorry for the people living downstairs, but they never came up. I stayed for about 5 weeks and tomorrow is finally the day to move out. I'm just packing up and writing a review, but I'm so used to this house that I'm sad to leave. ㅎㅎ”

“Before visiting, I asked the host about parking, distance to tourist attractions, etc., and he answered quickly and accurately. During my visit, the temperature suddenly dropped, but he even prepared a heater before check-in. The kindness was the best! I could feel the meticulous, clean, and warm emotions of the living room, bedroom, and small room. The neighborhood is quiet, and you can get to tourist attractions and cars within 10 minutes, and there is no inconvenience in taking a taxi, so walking is no problem. It was a week of living in a warm house in a strangely quiet neighborhood with no disadvantages. Thank you!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is LiveAnywhere?

LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.

It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.

Some listings show a deposit. What is it, and do I get it back?

Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.

Is there a good Airbnb alternative for a stay of a week or longer in Jeonju?

Looking for an Airbnb alternative in Jeonju? LiveAnywhere is built specifically for stays of a week or longer, with pricing that reflects that. Can foreigners rent a house in Jeonju without a Korean guarantor?
