If You Are Looking for a Spacious Home + Great Value
My family of four stayed here for a month. We had exactly two requirements: a "spacious home" and "reasonably clean and good value," and we fully satisfied both. As shown in the photos, it has a duplex structure with spacious rooms. Regarding the furniture and interior, it feels just like visiting a neatly maintained grandmother's house in the countryside—without high expectations. The building itself is in excellent condition, and the garden is beautifully tended.
I was truly grateful for the warm welcome from the friendly owners. They took great care of us throughout our stay, ensuring we experienced no inconvenience. I would like to give them five stars for this aspect.
Household Goods (Things I Was Curious About Before Signing)
I am writing this in detail as this was the part I was most curious about before booking as well.
Refrigerator: Large double-door refrigerator
Tableware: Plenty of various types, including Corelle and plastic dishes. (No small side plates provided) Can accommodate up to 10 people
4 pots of various sizes, 4 frying pans, Cuckoo rice cooker, electric kettle, microwave
Amenities: Mosquito repellent, shampoo and body wash in the bathroom
What is missing: Laundry detergent (please bring your own)
Disappointments — Washing Machine
The washing machine is very small, with a capacity of only 7kg. It was definitely inconvenient for a family of four staying for a month. Furthermore, due to the humid weather and frequent rain, drying laundry was not easy. If you are planning a long-term family stay, you should take this into account.
Location — The most important point to note
Since it is located in the mid-mountain area, the stars are very visible at night. Also, because it is in the southeast of Jeju, it felt like we drove 50 to 60km round trip every day wherever we went. I painfully realized how important it is to choose the right location for accommodation. It is good for those planning an itinerary focused on the east and south, but if you plan to travel mainly to the west and north, I recommend reconsidering.
Even though it is mid-summer and the environment is such that mosquitoes are inevitable, there were relatively few of them. However, it was disappointing that we couldn't sleep with the windows open because there were holes in the screens in both rooms on the second floor.
The TV kept turning on and off as if it were about to break down, and the color kept fading and then working fine again.
