Choosing accommodation was the most important thing for my first month-long stay in Jeju!
I had bookmarked dozens of houses and spent days deliberating, but this place caught my eye immediately. Since it was a new listing with no reviews, and I was exhausted from overthinking, I just thought "whatever" and booked it!!
As soon as we arrived, it was so clean and had all the necessary tools prepared, my daughter and I couldn't stop marveling.
I regretted booking only two weeks right upon arrival—I loved it that much.
What I liked most about this house was the smile and heart of the two owners.
They didn't show excessive interest worrying about our inconvenience, and the thoughtfulness of quietly leaving necessary items with notes in front of the house warmed not only the space we stayed in, but also the tired hearts of my daughter and me.
With the small shop called Monsoon right next door, it was great for a quick breakfast, and on days we didn't go out, we could grab lunch, and even late dinner—it was like a treasure island.
Even the pet dog Dali (who barks at people because of shyness, but is absolutely not a mean dog~ㅎㅎ and after some time, even comes to play in our yard~♡)
Parking in front of the house is convenient, the high ceiling doesn't feel stuffy at all, the bedding is fluffy and nice, and the bed is spacious and very comfortable. Everything is prepared so well that you just need to arrive, and the owners' attentiveness—constantly asking if you need anything—is wonderful.
Although not spacious, the well-maintained flower beds and a small courtyard with a eucalyptus tree where we could hang laundry and eat breakfast and dinner made for delightful moments. My daughter said the neighborhood is great for a light run too.
The mandarin orchard views in front and back of the house, the evening sunset, and the fireflies we met on our walks made for an unforgettable two weeks of rest.
Thanks to you both, I've grown to love Jeju even more,
and if I get the chance next time, I definitely want to visit this house again.
I had such a wonderful rest~♡
