I experienced a one-month stay in Aewol-eup, Gueom-ri, Jeju for the first time, and it left me with truly impressive and wonderful memories that I fell in love with. In particular, I could enjoy fishing right from the rocky shore just in front of the house, and the Jeju sea views were so beautiful.
Since the Olle trail runs right in front of the house, taking a 5-kilometer morning walk along the coastal road made me feel even healthier.
In particular, there are many famous cafes such as Noeulri Cafe nearby, so there are quite a lot of tourists, and enjoying bakery bread and coffee while gazing at the sea was very satisfying for healing both body and mind.
However, it was a bit disappointing that Typhoon Chami hit midway through my stay, and I experienced the strong Jeju winds and the raging sound of the waves for three days. Because of the typhoon on Saturday, I could not use the internet or watch TV for two days.
Overall, I can say I fully enjoyed a very satisfying month-long stay. After a month, I felt a little teary-eyed today as I left, having grown attached to Aewol, Jeju.
If I come to Jeju again someday, I really want to visit this place once more.
Goodbye, Jeju Aewol, thank you so much! ^^
