I was worried about my first trip to Jeju Island with two elementary school kids. I was concerned about the safety of the accommodation and whether it had convenient facilities.
But the moment I saw the place, I realized those worries were unfounded. First of all, before the trip, the host kindly provided guidance with helpful information from check-in onward, and that made me feel reassured. The host replaced the shower filter with a brand-new one and stocked the necessary supplies in advance. The host clearly understood what a mother with children would worry about. It felt as comfortable as visiting a countryside home, with a clean and tidy space and a pleasant fragrance.
The kids loved the two-story house so much that I lost count of how many times they went up and down the stairs. ㅎ
During our 18-night stay, we felt no inconvenience at all, as the host took great care of us. From time to time, the host also shared recommendations for good restaurants and fun spots to visit. We ran along the coastal road right in front of the house, and went down to the water to catch crabs with the kids. Since Gwakji Beach was nearby, we went there and then played with water guns in the yard. Daiso and a large supermarket were close by, which was very convenient.
Also, the Geunssalnam, run by the host, is truly a great restaurant in Hallim. I highly recommend you visit it.
The host runs a wonderful accommodation and also makes wonderful rice noodle soup. Although I was completely captivated by Jeju's own charm, the comfort of the accommodation also played a big part.
Just as we were getting used to it, it was time to return home. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable ^^
