I stayed in Seogwipo Beophwan for 15 days and completed a month-long stay at Albam House in Jocheon starting from the 16th. During the two weeks I spent at Albam House, the owner maintained the place so cleanly that I was able to stay comfortably. The surroundings are so quiet after sunset that it's almost eerie, and the accommodation is built with sturdy bricks that even in this extreme heat, the inverter air conditioner keeps the interior cool at just 28 degrees. There's a walking trail behind the accommodation and a path leading up to Albam Oreum, but the difficulty level is high, so I recommend climbing Witbam Oreum across the street instead. I heard that in spring there are many fiddlehead ferns, buttock leaves, and such, but right now there are many jeppi, which I enjoyed as a side dish with meat. I recommend this place for those who want to stay quietly, and following the owner's recommendation, I plan to visit again in spring when fiddlehead ferns and other wild vegetables come out.
