I stayed here for a month with my one-year-old baby.
First of all, the owners were so kind, and the house was incredibly well-maintained. We were allowed to eat as much as we wanted from the gardenโpeppers, eggplant, zucchini, and perilla leavesโand the plants kept growing day by day!
There wasn't a dryer, which was a bit inconvenient since we had a baby, but the sun was so nice that the laundry dried quickly.
If I had to pick a downside, it would be that traveling with a baby who can't use a car seat is a bit too central. Since our baby can't use a car seat, we only went to Jongdal-ri, a 30-minute drive away, which was a bit boring! Jongdal-ri is a quiet neighborhood, so there's not much to do. That's why I've become a regular here with the owner of the raw fish restaurant next door.
Other than that, there's Emerald Beach right in front, but no locals swim there. It's a chartered beach.
There are lots of small crabs, and if you snorkel, you'll see more fish than at any other snorkeling spot in Jeju Island. It's also highly recommended for anglers. You'll find black sea bream. We're thinking of coming back when our baby gets a little older.
