“1. Transportation is excellent and safe. While Korea has a good reputation for public safety, there are still times when women traveling alone can feel a bit unsafe. This is a typical bedroom community, so there are plenty of buses (most parts of Gyeongju can be reached by bus). Even after sunset, many people stroll, making it perfectly safe. There are also plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes. 2. This is a personal preference, but I value walking. There's a deck built along a small stream near my accommodation, and if you follow the deck, you'll reach Kim Yu-sin's Tomb (Heungmu Park). It's an ecological stream, so it's clean and great for a stroll. 3. I stayed alone, but it seems more than enough for two. I had no problems. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Gyeongju.”

“A newly built apartment located within a 10-minute walk of Bulguksa Temple. Major tourist attractions are within a 30-minute drive. I enjoyed exploring Gyeongju's historic sites and relaxing in the comfort of my own home. There's also an on-site supermarket, making grocery shopping very convenient. Highly recommended!”

“I was looking for accommodations at a nearby hospital for my internship, but it's really hard to find this quality at this price. Everyone agreed. Everyone said let's go here as soon as they saw it, so I made a reservation request right away. As soon as the reservation was confirmed, the owner sent me a text message to tell me this and that, even the smallest details, so I wasn't confused when I got to the accommodation and was able to find it right away. I was really grateful that he contacted me to see if there were any inconveniences during my stay!! I stayed for about 2 weeks, and I think I had a good time without any inconveniences. This time I visited for my internship, but I want to come visit next time!! The bed is really big, so two people can sleep comfortably. They said they're still decorating the accommodation, so I'm really curious about how it'll change in the future. I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it was really great! Please visit often after reading my review. The owner was kind, so I felt good the whole time I stayed😍”

“First of all, the host was very quick and kind. ***** was also provided, and the house was clean after remodeling. I uploaded photos with content not included in the basic information. Since it's really just going into a house and staying for a few days, you only need to bring luggage and food. ***** is also available, and recycling waste separation is neat. For food waste, you can just throw it in the food waste bin. After staying for about 10 days, I'm very satisfied and leaving. The restaurants in the area were also delicious. The store name is Wornang Hanwoo, and I recommend it. Homeplus Express and the food mart across from it, and there's also a mart on the way to the recommended restaurant above, so it's convenient to use the mart.”

“I stayed here for a month while traveling in Gyeongju. The apartment was newly built, so the accommodations were clean and warm. They responded quickly and kindly to requests. The spacious underground parking lot was great, so I didn't have to worry about parking even if I arrived late. It's close to Gyeongju KTX Station, and while it's a bit far from downtown Gyeongju, getting there by car wasn't a problem. It was also quiet at night, which was nice. The sunlight was warm and bright, but blinds were a bit dazzling, so I think it would be a better experience.”

“The exterior is modest, but the interior is similar to the photos. When I first moved in, there was a smell, so I used an air freshener. I was worried the parking space might be tight, but fortunately there were one or two parking spots available. Daiso and Top Mart are right in front, and Daereungwon is also nearby. I wish the frost buildup in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator would be improved, but overall I think it's a good value-for-money place. I stayed comfortably. Oh, and electricity and gas bills are separate. I think it would be good to take photos of the meter before and after moving in.”
LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.
It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.
Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.
