“I stayed here for two weeks from July 25th to August 8th, and I was incredibly satisfied and happy. 1. The location is perfect! - Hwangridan-gil and Daereungwon are just a 10-minute walk away, so I often go for evening walks and enjoy the beautiful Gyeongju nights! Hanaro Mart is also a 3-minute walk, making grocery shopping on the way home a breeze. The intercity and express bus terminals are also a 3-minute walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. - The accommodations were also immaculate. On our first day, cookies, coffee, tea, and various seasonings were provided, along with clean cutlery. The bathroom was also fully equipped with hotel-quality towels and toiletries. The 14-pyeong (approximately 46 square meters) bathroom is separate, making it perfect for 2-3 people. 2. The host was like a mother to me - I was most impressed by the wonderful host. You gave me delicious kimchi, brought me ice because it was hot, carried water with you and told me to drink often, and worried about me... You brought it right away if I needed anything... I was so grateful that you lived on the 4th floor of the same building and cared for me like a mother. Although our relationship was short, I learned a lot from your sincere dedication to building relationships. I will also share that kind of scent with those around me~~^^ I will never forget my 15-week stay in Gyeongju. I think 50% of it was thanks to the great accommodations and the owner. I wish you good health and prosperity always♡♡♡”

“I stayed for two weeks with my 6-year-old child. The host was so kind that I was able to stay comfortably. It was better than expected as it was clean and beautifully decorated just as shown in the photos. I really loved the modern white-toned interior, and parking was convenient as I could park in the free public parking lot across the street, making it easy to move around. The host checked to make sure guests could rest comfortably and was very accommodating without any complaints. There are convenience stores and marts within a 2-3 minute walk, and it's within a walkable distance to Hwangridangil and Jungang Market. It's a wonderful house I'd like to visit again when I travel to Gyeongju in a different season!”

“I visited Gyeongju several times during school field trips and business trips while working, but wanting to explore it in more detail, I chose it as my second domestic destination after retirement, and selected this place through LiveAnywhere~~it was a godsend. The host's kindness was beyond my imagination. The moment I opened the refrigerator, it was full of thoughtful welcome fruits, bottled water~~tea and snacks, etc. The view from the second floor was also cleansing to the heart and brought rest. The Chinese cabbage planted in the yard was as beautiful as flowers, and I was grateful for the host's kindness in telling us to pull out the cabbage and use it as an ingredient. I didn't even know this was during the Silla Cultural Heritage period when I planned the trip, and while there were plenty of things to see and do, I was worried about the huge crowds, but the host was so thoughtful and attentive to every detail that it became an even more enriching trip. The daughter's family who joined us midway was also extremely satisfied, and the young granddaughters were able to have new experiences in the attic. Watching them bouncing around on the spacious lawn~~click~~we leave with many precious memories from this pet-friendly place. Thank you so much. If I visit Gyeongju again next time, I want to come back here.”
LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.
It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.
Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.
LiveAnywhere works well as an Airbnb alternative for anyone staying in Gyeongju for a week or more. Rates are structured for longer bookings, not nightly stays, which usually works out cheaper than a night-by-night platform. There are no repeated cleaning fees, utilities are included, and hosts are verified and legally operating.
No Korean guarantor is required to book a stay in Gyeongju on LiveAnywhere. That's built into how the platform works, so you can complete the entire booking online without needing someone to co-sign.
