“This is a perfect view spot with Ulsan Rock visible in front and the sea behind. You can walk to Deungdae Beach and even to Yeonggeum Jeong, where you can watch the sunrise. During my stay, the weather was beautiful and I was able to see a breathtaking sunrise. Also, being within walking distance of Yeongrang Lake, I was able to take a walk there daily and enjoy it during both morning and evening. Since Sokcho Medical Center is nearby, public transportation is conveniently accessible. I also visited Daemyung Delpino and enjoyed a cafe with views of Ulsan Rock. If you enjoy walking, I recommend this place near Cheongcho Lake where you can explore famous restaurants and cafes in Sokcho on foot.”

“This was a home where thoughtful touches were evident throughout. The host was very kind, the house was clean, and there was nothing lacking. Since I went with a baby, it was great to have a floor topper to sleep the baby on the floor. Having a dryer is also a big advantage. The only downside was that parking was insufficient after evening, and there was even double parking, but we always managed to park without any issues. I would like to use it again next time. (+I think it would be even better if the home had an IKEA baby chair and a baby faucet installed on the bathroom sink!)”

“I'm not someone who usually writes reviews on Naver, but I had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to leave a review^-^ Inside the Accommodation The accommodation is a high-rise apartment with a spectacular view. I spent a lot of time enjoying the ocean view from the sofa for about a week. The interior is clean and well-maintained with bedding, dishes, seasonings, a washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, and more. As a family of four, we used everything very comfortably. There is plenty of parking (average parking space size). Outside the Accommodation Sokcho Beach is very close by. Nearby restaurants and cafes are about a 10-minute walk away, and there are many great food options. In particular, the kids loved Scoops Ice Cream right below the apartment so much that they ate it 3 times during our 6-night stay ㅎㅎ E-mart is nearby, Sokcho Market is close, and Seorak Mountain cable car is just a short drive away. My children are in the lower grades of elementary school, so my family has been staying in different places like Jeju Island, Gangwon Province, and Jeolla Province for about 1-2 weeks at a time to experience more. This Sokcho accommodation was the best^^”

LiveAnywhere is Korea's favorite short-term and vacation rental platform, built for extended stays of one week to six months. From trendy studios in Seoul to relaxing beach houses in Jeju, every home comes fully furnished and can be booked in minutes through the LiveAnywhere app.
It works much like Airbnb, but with a structure designed for longer visits: competitive weekly and monthly rates instead of nightly pricing, no repeated cleaning fees, and utilities included in your payment. That's why an extended stay in Korea through LiveAnywhere often costs noticeably less than booking the same period on a nightly platform.
Some listings include a small security deposit, far smaller than the large lump-sum deposits required by traditional Korean leases. Your deposit is held securely in escrow by LiveAnywhere, not by the host. After checkout, the host checks the property, and once they confirm there are no issues, your deposit is refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.
If you're looking for an Airbnb alternative in Sokcho, LiveAnywhere is built for stays of a week or longer. Nightly rates are set for extended stays, so the same apartment often costs noticeably less than booking week by week on a nightly platform. No Korean guarantor is required to book a stay in Sokcho on LiveAnywhere. That's built into how the platform works, so you can complete the entire booking online without needing someone to co-sign.
